At many companies, the Chief Financial Officer is second only to the CEO within the corporate structure. Because of the unique responsibilities and demands of the CFO position, understanding pay movements for the position is interesting and valuable.  Although it still represents only a fraction of total pay, base salary makes up a significantly larger share of the total for CFOs than for CEOs, and is deserving of particular attention.  more
